RE: People forget about a Vulcan Merger

RE: People forget about a Vulcan MergerHi pcej; I agree that a merger of CQV and VUL is not in the cards. Both companies have enough on their plates, so to speak to keep them separately busy. CQV's Garden Hill well(discovered by Pan Can and Hunt Oil in 1994) drilled into an Ordivician aged structure.Vulcan will be drilling into this deeper Ordivician aged structure as well at Flat Bay when it commences drilling in the near future.Additionally, there are two shallower seismic targets of interest to Vulcan on this property. Are you aware of the nature of news pending on CQV?Could it be related to their offshore property. If this is so, then maybe the buying interest in Vulcan today is a sympathy move.As you probably know, Vulcan holds 1.2 million acres offshore West Coast, making it the single largest offshore landholder on the entir Nfld. offshore. Whatever the reason, The West Coast has begun to take the spotlight from an oil play perspective. All companies active in the area will undoubtedly benefit this activity. As far as I can gather, Vulcan will also be actively exploring its Port-au-Port property in the near future. As we say in Nfld......"..the more the merrier..." Len
