RE: pretty subpar resultsIMO lithium is so new nobody even knows how to interpret results. EFG had subpar results that most other guys have released in the past - only difference is EFG was well promoted as it was a tightly held company with very little shares out. This time the investors lose as management sold huge positions to the public.
End of the day, most of these Canadian wannabe plays will fall by wayside - TANCO is one of the largest lithium/tantalum producers (Li2O) and (Ta) and has been for 20+ years. Why on earth would anyone else produce lithium purely at $4000/tonne?
Look into Argentina Lithium (type that in google) and see Magna and Toyota in deals that make sense...lithium from brines.
Heck, even Lithium One has moved on from Pegmatites - it's a nice way to get your news releases to mention lithium, but nothing more.
High grade at 3-4%? Look at Galaxy in Australia, their pegmatite mine is in China and funded by PE group Creat for $65 million...where labor is like $2 a day for most workers. That won't happen in Canada.
