BNN Commodities today...

BNN Commodities today...... had a section on REE with John Kaiser and Dudley Kingsnorth. While analyzing the shortage of the heavy and light REE, they have listed 5 elements which they see major shortage:

Neodymium - Rare-earth magnets, lasers, violet colors in glass and ceramics, ceramic capacitors
Dysprosium - Rare-earth magnets, lasers
Europium - Red and blue phosphors, lasers, mercury-vapor lamps, NMR relaxation agent
Terbium - Green phosphors, lasers, fluorescent lamps
Ytterbium - Infrared lasers, chemical reducing agent

the only companies mentioned were Linus (Australia), Avalon and Quest Rare.

IMHO, the last two are already priced for current metal prices and their possibility to get to production.
