Where's the COMEX? The COMEX has now had almost 8 weeks since provincial consultations were completed and the only task left, finalize the recommendations/conditions and submit it to the province. I had been wondering, what were they waiting for? There are only so many i's to dot and t's to cross.
They may have been waiting for these live sessions from from the federal agency to complete before filing their recommendation. It makes some sense actually, even thought they are completely seperate processes, they can see if any other issues pop up that would require further refinements to their recommendation.
From COMEX perspective, I don't think they heard anything new that wasn't already known from the provincial sessions back in February so it makes no sense to wait any longer.
COMEX meet again April 23rd,
taking a guess provincial recommendation could happen any day between now and end of April!
