IIRoc - Short Report

I was curious to see how much shorting occurred over the last 2 weeks trading,
This short report includes the week before the PP was announced and the week after.
IIRoc reports bi-weekly on the 15th and end of month.

For the period Nov 1 - 15 th

# of Short sale trades - 3,940
Short traded volume - 4,753,128
% of Total trade volume 42.26% 

Think about that 42 percent of all traded volume over the last 2 weeks were short sales!
I don't think you could say this is just retail mom and pop penny flippers!

Thanks Blowshigh!! Someone here noted that when you have PP the broker  short sell the shares and keep the warrants which seems to be the case given the volume. So 4M already short and we have another 10M to deal with that could be kept for the permits news to keep the share price spike unfer check.. I'm actually surprised that the price didn't collapse further given that 42% of ...more

For sure, 42% is a high rate of shorting. Also our share picked up 20% valuation since October 18th to its peak right before the PP annoucement.  So part of this shorting had to be expected I guess.
