In 403-B they are talking about drafting the final report and continuing discussion at the next meeting. There have been 2 Comex meetings since the 403-B meeting was held 8 weeks ago and it has been 2 weeks since the last meeting (June 14th).  That seems like lots of time for drafting - July permit anyone?

I say August, if there were no new items brought up to the table.  One thing - the Hydro Quebec line that is to be relocated requires approval too. And this is listed as a separate review process... so that one has to be cleared too. Lucky for us, it's not CRE who is doing the submission so hopefully Hydro Quebec has more knowledgeable people. Maybe they are waiting for approval of both ...more

The Hydro part is pretty much a run pf the mill thing for these guys. We  are not talking about a 100km line here. The line is already on the property.

Some speculation thoughts here: Reached out to Sophie from COMEX to see if Rose is on the agenda for the upcoming 406 meeting next Tuesday. She typically replies quickly but this time it's all silence! I take that as a positive thing as she might not want to reveal any information that is not public yet... Given that Rose review should have been completed  at 405 (June) meeting base on ...more

Lets hope so man.  Yes Sophie is usually prompt to respond. The day i look on comex website and see a 5 for approved replacing that tired looking 4 will be a day to remember.   Hope i dont have a stroke lol

Unfortunately, that's not going to be the case... no permits until September IMO, I'll sell if there is a pop as this will go lower and reenter at lower price. Just got the reply and it's not what I was hoping for : Hello, I can confirm that this project is on the agenda for the 406th meeting of the Review Committee. A reminder, however, that the minutes for this upcoming meeting will ...more

I myself think that the COMEX deal is done.  But a recommendation is not a permit. And that has to come from the minister. I do not actually know if the recommendation part is considered priviledged information ? I am thinking that the permit NR will turn up before COMEX updates our project to stage 5 on their website.
Comment by monkeyhere171 on Jul 21, 2022 5:18pm
You are probably right, however, the permit is unlikely to be issued without COMEX review completed. It's part of government's indigenous reconciliation agenda. Anyhow, since the project isnon the agenda that most likely means that the review is not yet completed.

Sorry No communication from COMEX, all questions answered, no timelines. from Eric July 8th

Well Comex...   Whats the word today?  Just like a really long roadtrip with kids....Are we there yet? You can show us that 5 anytime.

I agree.   If Comex discussed drafting the final report on may 3 and have had 2 meetings since and yet another scheduled for next week surely a decision has been made.  It was also stated awhile back that the minister has not yet ever gone against a recommendation ,  let alone a project of this scope.

Chances are the recommendation is already sent to the deputy minister. Like i said before. Permit will be delivered on July 13th for my birthday. :)

Reading you all is very refreshing. The news about writing a final report is very positive. In NEM case it was the sign for the permit. To me permit is a done deal now,  matters of weeks or even days ( I Hope). just my opinion on the last news. And betting on a date , my birthday is too far  in August. So I choose next monday July 4th
