Globe and mail article that says is possible battery plants are a possible no go in Canada is having effect on the lithiums today. US wants them and lots of perks for setting up there. Nevada is pure mining state and permitting is much quicker. Not the 10-15 years it takes in Canada.

a shovel hasn't hit the ground on that promise and US is offering big perks to locate there. Canada will have to at least match them. Maybe we'll see it in the budget on the 28th but we are in debt up to our necks from the Trudeau government. No lithium production for at least 10 years, that's a long payback time and the article I read suggests it may not happen for the battery plants.
