Lithium Boom 💥 just starting !!

The “lithium boom” is just getting started. The average global price of #lithium in 2023 is very strong by historical standards and may exceed 2022. The focus on the brief peak China spot price in 2022 shows just how misunderstood lithium’s role in the energy transition is. And, yes, it is inevitable that Argentina will produce more lithium than Chile by 2030 but why focus on inter-Andean rivalry??

LTR liontown lithium proposal of a 3$ buyout from ALB
6 billion market cap

They improved the offer from the previous $2.50/share which value the company at US$1,900/t SC6 which can be taken as a floor price now since a major is willing to pay that much for long term. Compare now CRE's new FS with US$2,162/t SC5.5 one can determine the previous price deck used in 2022 FS was more realistic. Regardless, still undervalued..
