My opinion: I don't think anyone is expecting a September announcement re financing, they have made it amply clear that that is very unlikely. I think there is anticipation of financing in October or November, "more likely in the fall " we're Eric's words from the crux interview. There are different levels of confidence among investors. "Expecting" would be a higher one and to not dissapoint, needs inside ionformation. Then there is the lower level that I would call "hoping"  and this one does not even require due dilligence. The one that most serious investors use is "probable" and this one is more mathematical.
