Hydroxide conversion plant?

As indicated on the recent Rock Stock Channel interview, a problem with the supply chain in North America is the lack of facilities to produce lithium hydroxide/carbonate. CRE announced positive results on an engineering study for a hydroxide conversion plant on August 11, 2022. Do you suppose the painfully long time CRE has taken to pull together financing is in part due to additional planning and financing for the hydroxide plant being included into the plans?

Hope is a bad investment advisor... better learn to read the market. This is going to hurt for the time being as market will have to adjust since most US rebates are now gone. The IRA has s kicking in and the EV models eligible fell from 43 to 19 as of now. Which means less EV cars will be sold for the time being since the manufacturers didn't rush to secure North American suppliers of Lithium ...more
