2010

What happened in 2009 / 2010 for this to spike to 2.60? More importantly why did it tank to 0.6 again?

The announcement that their products work for onshore and offshore purposes, both within a week of each other. Amazing how after all that the stock price still managed to tank as everybody chased the next gold mine, oil play or social media fad investment and forgot all about CTW's wind industry-saving technology. The ousting of Rogers as CEO did a lot of damage too but it was a necessary evil ...more

MESSAGE POSTED by Dytyjeje1 What happened in 2009 / 2010 for this to spike to 2.60? More importantly why did it tank to 0.6 again? I might be one of the only people reading this board that has been here since 2010. I sadly entered on the downhill (or so I thought) of $.80 Mismanagement by the former CEO (who CTW is currently suing for just under $20 mil) and lots of spending. They ...more

In short (forgot this part): CTW is extremely undervalued due to the former CEO (insider) selling over 20 mil shares and killing the SP.https://canadianinsider.com/node/7?menu_tickersearch=CTW As of 11:59pm ET May 31st, 2012 Filing Date Transaction Date Insider Name Ownership Type  ...more

IqaluitZen I completely agree with you. Except it's 2 lawsuits - $18.6M and $18.2M. One is for the plane, the other is for "general breach of contract" and OADS billing practices. Read the MD&A carefully. Not like I think Rogers has a spare $40M to pay up in case he loses both, but it is symbolic. In turn, Rogers is suing the company for the financing of the plane ($4.2M) and for ...more

By no means I'm trying to run you down. But the energy output Is more like 5 to 8% and the profit margin has shrank slighly. But after saying that I still hold a ( for me) large postion In this company.     BB2.

Hopefully they are running out of shares to sell... So the price can go to levels that reflect fair value!!!

So, Rogers sold a pile of shares in March... Thinking that's why the drop in SP.  Anyone know how many more shares this guy and his wife has. There were a bunch of options that expired recently. I wonder if Rogers is selling his shares to try as stick it to the folks who have options that are about to expire. From what I'm reading for any option holders to be in the money the sp needs ...more

Excerpt from their MD&A below. Because they ceased to become insiders as of March 31, any sells they did after that did not have to be reported as insider transactions. I suspect some of the heavy sell volume in April was theirs as well. I also added in the part where Hunter Hall owns about 40% of the company just for interest sake.      During the first quarter of 2012, the ...more
