Interesting NamSys Summary [from winter 2019]
Hello everyone! I was trying to google around some more information about NamSys. I came a cross an interesting write-up on the following website: https://battleshipinvesting.com/namsys-analysis/
Does anyone else have any new or update on how NamSys is doing during this time?
I read in the news that some stores, food delivery companies, and transportation companies in US and Canada are refusing to take cash and only accept digital payments. This is not good for us and is kind of worrying. Brinks also reported an investor warning stating: "However, we expect a reduction in overall demand, particularly in the retail segment, to have a negative impact on our first-quarter and full-year results." (https://s21.q4cdn.com/938716807/files/doc_news/2020/Brink's-Releases-Statement-on-Impact-of-COVID-19-vfinal-031720.pdf) Did anyone find any update on how this might be impacting the number of trucks using NamSys software etc? I mean it could speed up the adoption of the automated currency dispensers etc [so people do not touch money with hands] but it will also cut down the demand for cash storage and transportation to probably greater extent...
Also does anyone know if the acquired part of the G4S business was already using NamSys software? Given that it was mostly in Eastern Europe and South Asia and NamSys's does not report sizeable earnings from these regions, I think they might be using competitor's software.
Any information would be much appreciated! Thanks to the entire community and stay safe everyone!
