Q4/2021 Results

Well, they finally made a sale of their modules.  First since Sept 2021.  This is good.  But is that it for another over 6 months?

I am watching with interest to see when the financials are released.  The last Friday of the month is tomorrow.  Will they release after market close to midnight?  or do a release Monday morning then announce a sale on Tuesday morning?  seems to be a theme.

Does anyone feel depressed after each Monday passes and there is no news of a sale?  Early Monday's for sale announcements seems like a theme but once Monday comes and goes without an announcement, does the rest of the week seem barren and hopeless? week after week?  almost like Chinese water torture. Lol

There's no doubt the tech is great.  After reading and hearing so many things over time as noted before, that have just not transpired, (speaking of which, will they announce the Wyoming Hydrogreen install is completed next week by the 31st as they said it would be in the December interview?) I keep wondering if they are having a hard time closing deals.  Not sure but I continue to wait on the sidelines until maturity happens if it ever does.  Buffet did it with Apple and he has made a ton of on paper gains.  If this is the real deal then there is going to be plenty of time and opportunities to get in.

As a side note, there was one whole day of volume and the Twitter chartists and self proclaimed guru's are out.  Wrong again in their crystal ball charting as always though.  "The gap has to be filled".  "you never want to see the breakout candle be taken out" oops.  Honestly, if it was that easy, everyone would be rich and retired.

I hear you on all that Bandit. The macro factors continue to add credence to what CUBIC is working to get into the market. Need for food security, reduction in water usage, transportation costs, consumer behaviour & preference for more local and fresh foods, inflation. It all points to a societal problem that cubic is contributing to solving. Wish the communication and output of sales was ...more

Wow someone is alive in here! hahaha I agree re:macro 100%.  I mean the stars were aligned for something like this before this war.  The stars are even more aligned now.  I see no negatives other than lack of sales/revenues and Q1 is almost over already!! and my suspicion is that deals are just not closing.  Seems like logical conclusion.   I've also watched ...more

Thanks for the additional insight. 160 staff seems way high to me? Did they state that in past presentation or release? Did a quick search on LinkedIn to get a proxy of number of staff with connections to company - Just under 100 appear. I've sent a message to investor relations asking for more insight into sales and close rates. Will see what (if?) they respond with..... Any other vertical ...more

re: staffing levels It was in the last MD&A for Q3 2021 released Nov 15/21.  But it has been mentioned somewhere since then, possibly in the December interview?.  I don't recall exactly where.  I have also  watched their careers page for a long time.  It shrinks then grows and then I shake my head.  So much so that my neck hurts sometimes.  Were they ...more
