RE:summary of deal

RE:summary of dealMaterialsgirl.  Your statement below is dead on, and is a great reason to short.  Seriously, no smart investor buys Copper Fox at this value when you can buy a producing mine like Taseko, or Copper Mountain for more than half the cost (based on market cap).  Can a long, please explain this? Please, something besides its a so called "district."

Materialsgirl Writes:

Honestly, it baffles me that investors value the Shaft Creek mine at  a cool one billion dollars;  market cap is $250m for just 25% of the deposit.    ok deduct some cash from Teck and maybe the valuation is about $950m.

In today's environment, it is rather crazy.   Nobody can buy CUU out except Teck.  And it is in their interest to game the game by encouraging the share price to drop and drop in case they later want to buy it cheaply.

There are other comparable deposits with a market value  90% or 95% cheaper;  WRN is an example and no I do not own it.  It is valued at about $25m after deducting cash.

Go figure
