Well here we are one quarter into 2023 and NO Commercial Contract with CNQ. Right now is the time where shovels should in the ground on Horizon Site for the First Build of CVW technology. But that's not happening as far as I can see, You? Apparently there is all sorts of goodies for the Company that initiates the first build "grants". Rumors persist thaw we may be close but I don't think so. The reason why is the Elephant in the room named Murray Edwards, if you don't know he calls the shots at CNQ. He is probably the toughest negotiator in Canada and he gets his way or doesn't deal. Probably best for CVW to move on to Suncor.

The pressure on the oilsands to clean up its act is tremendous, and growing every day. This technology is needed, even if it produced zero revenue. I think it's royalty agreements that is holding it up, hopefully they can reach an agreement sooner than later.

So let's say that Murray drives a hard bargain but there is a deal.  Presumably other oil sands producers will fall into place as well..  Does anyone care to speculate on what the share price will look like?

Pg 19 of their Feb '23 deck indicates Ebitda of $185-$268MM per year per site (5 or 6 sites eventually possible). I suspect their share would likely be between 20-25%. That is $37- $67MM a year. As a royalty play their cost base wouldn't be great. My guess less than $10MM/year. So you probably have a pretax number of $25-$60MM excluding growth from additional sites or other clean tech ...more
