New Record but ?CVX hit 44 in 2008 and then went down to 5 in the 2009 financial crisis . We hit 50 in may 2016 . So 51 is a record as long as I have owned this stock . There has been no insider buying since Aug 2019 and then it was only 200,000 bought privately . I'm very pleased with the strength of the stock but with the history of spiking followed by a slow grind down , I'm not celebrating yet .
