RE:OutrageousAgreed. Now 20MM o/s with fair value aroung 13c-15c with award value paid in cash or shares. On top of ths share based payments to senior mgmt and cash salaries totalling ~$2MM a year. Then they have NCIB using treasury money to buy back and cancel shares or to accrue shares to meet share payout under RSU awards. Plus a 10% rolling stock option plan for insiders' benefit. Okay not so unlike other oil industry companies but where does the common shareholder figure in this. I look at Brookfield entities 400MM share ownership and have to wonder why they are not smarting at this over-indulgence to executive awards especially when not out of a downturn.. Guess we might fell releived they only issued 7MM RSU's down from 11MM last Dec, a time when the downturn was really being felt!! Pretty agregious!
