NR - AV exercise induced inflammation / Pepsico study

Haven't heard PEPSICO mentioned for a while, didn't know they were still involved, but this is great news.

EDMONTON, Alberta, Aug. 04, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ceapro Inc. (TSX-V: CZO; OTCQX: CRPOF) (“Ceapro” or the “Company”), a growth-stage biotechnology company focused on the development and commercialization of active ingredients for healthcare and cosmetic industries, today announced that positive results demonstrating the anti-inflammatory and immunomodulating properties of avenanthramides have been accepted for publication in the international, peer-reviewed Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition. The article titled “Avenanthramide supplementation reduces exercise-induced inflammation in young men and women,” is now available online. The study was co-funded by Pepsi Co and Ceapro Inc.

Here is the article AV reduction of inflammation from exercise If you look at the authors, this could be huge, you see Gilles name for the first time in a CZO publication (that I can recall) and there is someone from Pepsico, Jodee Johnson.  Is this a final report before commercialization?

It took a year for the final manuscript to be completed, from the June 2019 NR, "The manuscript of this study is under final revision by the authors and the co-sponsoring companies, Ceapro Inc. (AB, Canada) and PepsiCo (USA). “This research project is another important milestone in line with Ceapro’s stated strategy to transition from a contract manufacturer to a biopharmaceutical company. ...more

Let me clarify what I wrote earlier; Would PepsiCo use AV as a food additive and do a commercial deal? Would CZO continue on with a AV pharma grade pill on their own? These studies, while they were conducted using avenanthramides in food, provide a solid foundation for our research team as they move forward and conduct a safety and bioavailability study using proprietary, pure pharmaceutical ...more

These results are clear and strong. They really do show the benefits of AVA for pain relief, muscle relief, and immune response. One cannot ask for much better results.

Sometimes anxious short term sellers get out if they don't see the share price move on a news release.  Seems like a board member hit the bid at .65 today.

Just wondering why you would assume that whomever hit the bid today at .65 is a board member.  What am I missing?

Chucky posted that he got out and made .24 (he had gotten in at .41) so he is the one that likely sold at .65 that day.  Could be wrong but timing shows like to be this board member.
