A must do to prevent price manipulation!!

A must do to prevent price manipulation!! We have all heard that brokerages can short stocks using their client's shares. The shares that you think are yours are registered in the brokerages name and under the brokerage they are under your name. The only way to have the shares under your name is to register them through the transfer agant directly or to ask for your certificates. The other option is to put the shares up for sale at a very high so they don't get bought unexpectedly. This locks them in so they can't be used to "manipulate" a stock's price. They sell the shares and at some point they rebuy them. Sometimes they do this to make money (buy lower), sometimes its to force the private placement at much lower prices (ever heard of toxic financings?), etc, etc. Canaccord has been well known to play dirty. When they use your shares there is no way you will know as it will not show up in your account as having been sold.....remember the shares are under the brokerages name with the transfer agent!

I just put all my shares in 2 accounts for sale at $2.45 good for 30 days (the maximum) and I will update it to keep it in. You will probably need to call in as I wasn't able to do it online because I got an error saying the ask price is too far from the current price (lol). I am sure one day I will get filled at this price.....

My mate will be doing the same and will be putting his shares for sale at $2.

I highly recommend that people do this! You have nothing to lose and everthing to gain by preventing this from happening. DBV has a very low float so its very easy to manipulate the price using this method. As a group we can protect ourselves.....there is strength in numbers!

i have it on good authority that this is very typical for them, and this is the type of action they specialize in, and to that point, don't be too surprised if our local recently SH joined idiots is actually one of the brokers at Canacrap (again their style I'm told)

Anyways my source has told me we shareholders can help limit their activity by not letting our shares sit dormant without an ask on them, when they don't have an ask on them they can borrow them to short, this is what I'm told.

They also can see stop loss orders, so to prevent them swooping those shares up, don't use stop loss orders and put your ask on your shares high enough that they can't grab them or borrow them for their shorting activity.

So I tried putting an ask on my shares for $1.00 online but it was rejected for being too far off from the current ask, so then I called my brokerage and had the override that and it worked.
The maximum time I was allowed to have the order sit on the books is 30 days so that's what I've done.
Between all the shares that Farshad and those loyal to him hold and all of us combined do what we can to thwart these market pariah's efforts or at least shorten the rope from which they hang the better.

all Jmho
