Theft by shortingObvious naked sorting going on today by the spineless anonymous. Any kind of shorting is theft; naked shorting is at least triple theft. Why is shorting theft? Because shorters sell shares they didn't buy and drive down the value of shares I paid for with real money. Do I get any compensation for this theft of my shares? I do not. Naked shorting is the worst kind because naked shorters don't even bother to borrow shares. They simply sell shares which don't exist. Can someone explain why this is acceptable, why no controls are in place to stop this illegal practice and why I get no compensation when my shares are borrowed or stolen. Regulators? Other concerned shareholders?
