DEC vs PRBBack when I was buying juniors like Decade in 2006-2010, I also owned a company called Probe Mines. They went on to prove up a 3-4m oz au deposit. They sold this to Goldcorp about 3 years ago for $525M. I think I made about a 500% return on it. They are now called Probe Metals.
The management team is very strong with this company and they managed to keep all their other core assets and a lot of cash, something around $30m. They are now doing the exact same thing in highly prolific mining area, Goldcorp still holds around 20% of the company. They currently have around 1m ozs proven and are drilling and expanding the zone still. I expect they will do the same thing again from what I see and my experince with them, ironically the BB isn't polluted with pump and dump comments and posts, another bad sign I find generally.
They have a massive land package in a great mining district. My point is that if you take a look at Probe vs Decade you will see how much of a difference solid management can make and ultimately benefit the shareholder and not just themselves. Juniors that don't have cash or continually dilute their shareholders rarily pay off I find. Combined with lack of proper NR's, IE no actual grades or assays and then rumoured updates that come and go. That leads to lack of crediblity and subsequently lack shareholder value IMO.
