She then says these sales targets are so that private investors, that is and DMEVS, can have the confidence to built out the national charging infrastructure...

I am in agreement with what DMEVS and DM have said in their 2022 holiday emails... I am believing that 2023 is going to be our year.

Let's wait and see how the president steers the ship but I agree adoption of EV will sure open doors for DMEVS.

In 2022 MG seemed to be trying to do most everything himself. The difference for 2023 is that we now have Mr. Lemay taking charge of DMEVS and I expect things to happen in a bigger way and a lot faster! They seem to be hinting that this will be the case.

I saw that.  Honestly I prefer hybrid car at this point, but technology will improve, EV will be very common 10 years from now.

Toyota/Lexus has held this view for sometime and as a consequence are quite far behind in developing Pure EV's. Notice however that all of their ideas involve the demise of ice powered vehicles and the options to replace them all involve electricity.
