In the interview he mentions a plant capacity of 10,000,000 cubic feet per day. So... - 10,000,000 perday X (say for the worst well) 1% helium = 100,000cu ft or 100mcf - 100mcf X 500$ per mcf (middle of the pricing range)= 50,000$ revenue per day per processing plant. Do I have this right ?

If i'm reading/converting this right, the combined MCFGPD of wells 2 and 4 would be 2.83 MCF per day. (28%) of plant capacity.  A few supplemental wells in the McCauley field would bring this close to full capacity.    McCAULEY FIELD Chevlon Well 11-1 DESERT MOUNTAIN ENERGY ANNOUNCES COMMERCIAL GRADE HELIUM PERCENTAGES IN DISCOVERY WELL Flow rate of 1587 MCFGPD water free ...more

For sure they will be. You know what I'm saying though. If you're trying to convert $50000 USD/day to some kind of quick and dirty valuation don't forget to convert to CDN : ) A 150M USD company is a 200M CDN company : )

With all the hoopla around the venting of methane in the world and pledges to reduce, I wonder if the Arizona oil and gas commission would even give a permit to produce this well.  The plant will not take methane out of the vent gas of nitrogen and if it did clean it up, that is a whole new complexity and cost  around capturing and marketing a little bit of hydrocarbon gas.   I ...more
