Spacing Exemption

I know we are all anxious for updates regarding the McCauley processing plant, but I just head that an AOGCC public meeting was held today and that DME was approved for a spacing exemption that would allow it to drill one well per 40 acres in the McCauley field. DME has talked about this possibility and I'm glad to hear that they are executing accordingly. I assume there will be some announcement will be forthcoming at some point (maybe along with an update on the plant startup) with more details and associated plans.

Just a bit of good news to carry you through the weekend!

This is more than just "good" news, it is GREAT news.  Since DME only produces from one zone per well, many zones that have been bypassed cannow be drilled and produced if economics warrant. Since "behind the pipe" resources are probably many times larger than those currently developed, this regulatory change represents a potentially enormous addition to asset value.

How did you hear about this? I'm not finding it very easy to track down current public meetings from the AZOGCC.

A friend of mine attended the meeting.

This is huge news! Cost-wise, pressure loss wise, etc. etc.

First time they've mentioned the IRA wrt hydrogen production. Since production costs are should be low I believe the hydrogen production credit would more than make us whole. Negative production costs in other words.  Just need to be able to produce a massive amount of it.
