Where did you get these numbers? Are they only getting $200 a month for 7 megawatts. The cost to put in the infastucture for these 7 megawatts was over $5M. The old machines they had were connected to the old powerlines. These new machimes will be connected to the new 85 MW transformer which cost over $4M to install. Then they had to put in additional switchgear and racks for these new miners which will cost over $1M. Industry average hosting fee is a surcharge of 2.5 cents per kwh. This would be $315k for 7MW each month. Once you subtract the cost of employees and property taxes there may only be $200 left to pay for the $5M investment each month. At this rate it will be paid off in about 2000 years.
