RE: RE: RE: Local Noticethe banks are going nuts at the moment... my bigest possition, an energy un fell under 5.00 today, so, I wanted to average down using what I had left in my margin account.. well the amount I had this morning, just disapeared.... after a phone CALL, the gentelman explained to me that after falling under 5.00, my margin went from 70% to 35 % %?&*/$%... he said that if the stock closed below 5.00, that monday morning I would recieve an e mail warning to pay up, or they would sell a portion of the stock to clean up the % I owe on my margin.... no wonder the stock market is in shambles....at 2.30, I sold out my possition, ( of cource at a substantial loss), and I am now cash, good thing I did, because the stock closed at 4.81.... so, that means that monday morning, people that were not on there computer following today, will be forced to pay up the difference, or SELL at what level... to many sellers for the buyers....
