Cartier Resources is focused on advancing its 100% owned Chimo Mine gold project in Quebec, Canada. The project currently hosts an indicated resource of 720,000 ounces gold and an inferred resource of 1.63 million ounces gold. A recent PEA outlines an after-tax NPV of $388 million CAD with a 20.8% IRR, based on a 10 year mine life producing 1.2 million ounces gold. Chimo is a past producing mine with key infrastructure in place including a power line, shaft and permitted tailings facility. This allows for a lower capex of $341 million CAD. The project is located in a mining friendly jurisdiction with access to suppliers and workforce.
