Possible news from Dogpaw

Possible news from Dogpaw
The Dogpaw Lake Property is located approximately 58 kilometres south-southeast of the town of Kenora, in northwestern Ontario. The property is comprised of 54 mining claims totalling 630 units, or 10,080 hectares, all situated within the Kenora Mining Division The claims are 100% owned by Endurance Gold Corporation.
Access to the Dogpaw Lake Property is good, with the paved Highway 71 extending along the western boundary of the claim block. That highway provides access to a series of lakes, from which much of the property can be reached. The Cameron Lake Road extends east from Highway 71, and crosses the central portion of the property, providing additional access.
The area comprising the current property has had a long and extensive exploration history, dating back to the late 1800's. Recorded work on the property, filed with the Resident Geologist's office in Kenora, dates back to 1944. Since that time, there have been 128 exploration programs for which assessment work has been filed on the current claim block. That work, which focused almost exclusively on gold exploration, took place during five main periods of exploration activity, separated by periods of inactivity ranging from 4 to 16 years. They were the mid 1940's (1944-1947), the early 1960's (1961-1962), the late 1960's to mid 1970's (1968-1975), the 1980's (1980-1989) and the mid 1990's to present day (1996 to 2003). These exploration programs resulted in the discovery and definition of several gold prospects, none of which were active in October, 2002, a predecessor company (Cunniah Lake Inc. - which owns over 40% of Endurance Gold) began acquiring the large property via staking.
After acquiring the property in late 2002, Cunniah Lake Inc. completed a major property compilation of historical assessment work over the large property, through the latter half of 2003. That compilation formed the basis of a NI 43-101 compliant report completed on behalf of the company in December, 2003 (Blackburn and Courtney, 2003), that to date remains an unpublished internal document The work resulted in the identification of thirteen gold occurrences and prospects deemed to be of sufficient merit as to require additional investigation.
To that end, Cunniah Lake Inc. completed a small reconnaissance program on the property between September 15 and November 03, 2003. That work is summarized in the June 2004 assessment report by Courtney. Nine of the thirteen prospects and occurrences were visited and sampled by the exploration crew, with variable results.
Four areas of significant gold mineralization were defined on the property, two of which were known as historical prospects, and two of which represent new discoveries.
At the historically known Jenson-Johnson Prospect, detailed sampling returned strongly anomalous gold values in excess of 1 gram per tonne gold (and to as high as 29.99 gpt Au) over a 200 metre strike length. The zone, which strikes north-south, is comprised of variably sheared and altered (silica, iron carbonate) mafic volcanic, in close proximity or at the contact with medium grained gabbro.
At the historically known Knapp Lake Prospect, a previously excavated trench, some 60 metres in length, was located, mapped, and sampled. The trench exposes variably sheared, altered mafic volcanics, locally intruded by a fine grained felsic dyke. Grab samples from sulphide rich portions of the shear returned significantly elevated gold values, to as high as 94.56 gpt.

A new discovery, known as the Starlyght Showing, was made during the reconnaissance program. The showing is hosted internal to a large felsic (granodiorite) intrusive known as the Stephen Lake Stock. Gold mineralization appears to be spatially associated with a series of weakly to moderately developed north-south trending fracture sets. Associated with and on those fractures is moderate to strong alteration comprised of ankerite, potassium (both as sericite and K feldspar) and silica, as well as the introduction of a significant amount of pyrite. Initial grab sampling from the area returned gold assays of between 3.189 and 47.290 gpt gold. A subsequent follow-up program of hydraulic washing and channel sampling was completed. A total of 93 samples, totaling 87.5 metres, were cut in fifteen separate channels across the fracture-alteration zone. That sampling program covered an area with an estimated strike length of 88 metres, and projected width of approximately 36 metres. The average grade of all samples collected from the zone was 1.99 gpt gold. Higher grade channels, up to 4.22 gpt gold across ten metres, were also returned.
A second new discovery, known as the New Dogpaw Showing, was also located during the reconnaissance program. The showing, on the eastern shore of Dogpaw Lake, is located approximately 170 metres southwest of the historically known Gauthier Occurrence. The showing is comprised of intensely silicified and sericitized felsic ash tuff, containing between 2% to 8% fine disseminated pyrite. Initial grab samples from the zone returned gold values of between 12 ppb gold to 23.42 gpt gold. Subsequent channel sampling across an exposed 6.8 metre section of the zone returned a composite grade of 1.049 gpt gold.
