RE: One more thing

RE: One more thingUnlike many sectors, mining companies do not need to promote their product. The product is not unique. It will sell at the 'spot' price. Ok, my bad, I should have said promotion rather than hype. When did SWN become a mining company? Last I heard SWN was a JR. Explorer developing a unique property. Promotion is an important part of these type of companies. Don't take my word for it though. Doug Casey considers it to be important enough to include in his 7 Ps for evaulating Jr. Resource Companies. For fun I've decided to list the 7 Ps and give SWN a letter grade under each P. Note the the extremists out there. This is just my personal semi-informed opinion. I'd like to see others give their opinion in a simular format and maybe we start an interesting discussion. People * C * Technically very competent but SP of SWN and YZC disappointing. Property * A * World class deposit only remote location prevents an A+. PHinancing * D * Low on cash. Can't meet this yrs budget with out PP or JV. PAPER * C- * Over 100MM shares outstanding. Prospect of more shares wieghing on price. PROMOTION * C * Nothing grossly inadequate but nothing special. POLOTICS * B * Some signs of Goverment cooperation. Price * C+ * High metals prices make this project attractive
