RE: The Struggle for Control of SWN Part 3"This is offset by several market factors that the control seekers are exploiting. One example. The junior resource market is reeling from the well deserved bad publicity received by the Nova Gold/Teck fiasco. All this adds to the perception that SWN is between a rock and a hard place for sure O.K you say, this could happen. My speculation is that it is happening."
The biggest problem with this thesis is that the SWN share price has been in a decline well before the suspension of the Galore Creek project. Cause never follows effect.
"O.K you say, this could happen. My speculation is that it is happening. So the next question is how do they get control.
Well folks I do not know. However I do know I will not tender my shares for some low ball offer."
How do they get control? Well first they find a world class deposit owned by a company with a management that is totaly financially inept. You wait for the managament to dilute the company into the stoneage and when the company can no longer secure the capitol it needs to carry out it's grandiose drilling program you swoop in and buy the deposit/company out from under their A$$es.
"I do know I will not tender my shares for some low ball offer. This is their problem."
I don't know that your refusal to tender your shares will present much of a problem. Last I checked 0.0001% of a company didn't constitute a controlling interest but, I'll look it up just to be sure.
