Hi, touaregHi, touareg,
Thanks for your post. As someone very long SWN and in a huge hole, I can tell you that this stock is the most flabbergasting one I have ever owned. I concur with all the things you cited, both in terms of the deposit, the "dreadul" market sentiment, the long-term view for zinc, etc. Yet, the price has cratered.
If you've been able to hold off buying until now, you've done remarkably well. I thought I was being really smart by buying down my average cost into $0.40s from an already large postition, even through last week at $0.30. Then the bottom dropped out this week. John Templeton once stated that the time to invest is when there is "blood running in the streets." I've contributed a goodly amount of that critical fluid to this flood...
I've not sold any shares this week, though in my panic I considered it... IMNSVHO, this stock ought to be one heck of an investment. I believe the company is worth a ton of money (for all the reasons you cited and more), but the price has gone the other way.
I've heard it said that the buying--or "entry"--price at which one buys into a stock is everything. I am painfully jealous of anyone who's buying a new position, now. I think you'll do very well, to say the least.
GLTA!
P.S. Joe, I echo touareg's thanks about your contribution to this board. Thanks to you, as well, nopoo.
