Eguana Technologies Inc > Is EGT still a going concern?

Is EGT still a going concern?

A few days ago was in Calgary and drove past the Eguana office. Did not try to go in as I am not currently nvested but have been in and out over the years and have always really wanted success for this company.
At 11am there were 3 vehicles in the parking lot and I could not tell if the lights were on in the office. It was -100000 degrees during the polar vortex so that may have effected people going to the office but, to me, I don't think anything is happening in Calgary.

-The second tranch of a small $2 million PP has still not filled (or been announced). No one is investing in the company any longer.
-When the hold ends for the DH divestment the flood of taxloss selling of those shares will be overwhelming. The people are receiving all of the fund shares not only EGT so there will be winners to compensate for the losers in the portfolio.
-No money to buy parts to build and if Omega is still the manufacturing partner I am sure they are not fronting money to build at this point. They are seeing the clearance sales of distributors that can't sell systems
-Employees laid off and other message boards have discussed furloughed employees as well.
-No news or public statements
-Duracell non-payment tells me that Duracell is not paying for product that does not work or is a money loser. I have never heard of Duracell being a shady company that does not pay just because they don't want to. That would be all over the news so, I believe, Eguana failed Duracell not the other way around.
-3 decade old technology. Nobody is coming to buy the company for the patents. There is new better tech on the market that does everything and more. The industry leader that EGT has always touted as being is long gone.

I think this is over, just waiting for the board resignation news release followed by delisting from the venture exchange.
Very unfortunate.

I just emailed Justin Holland in the hope he will comment in some fashion regarding your message content. Historically, he has not responded when I attempt to communicate. In light of the potential gravity of your post, perhaps this time will be different.    Will update if I hear anything.

It is encouraging to be able to share with shareholders/EGT Bullboard followers that Justin Holland did directly respond to the email I sent earlier today after reading "Toady's" last post. He addressed my concerns and added additional material to the degree disclosure regulations permit. Specifically, he noted: 1.) Per news release dated December 8, 2023 (pasted below for easy ...more

Interesting. Not a good enough answer for me to re-open a position now but maybe if they give more clarity shortly. Granted making a high risk bet now would be highly profitable if there is recovery here. They are steep odds that are not in EGTs favor from my view but it is encouraging that JH responded to you so quickly. EGT still has a pulse just need to get out of the ICU. GLTA DYODD

Understand  your thinking "Toady" and imagine there are numerous others currently holding similar views. Quite a bit of "Show Me" right now but at least willing to look again. I will watch and add small amounts for now. Hopefully, a value trend reversal does follow the update noted in my post and we can all breathe somewhat easier again. Mostly I want to see a business ...more

I'm optimistic that this company will be a go to company for  residential vpp's. Australia is a good example of how our technology is being used in Australia.

I have always wondered whether the outstanding A/R was from someone other than Duracell.  I don't think Holland was very forthcoming with this information at various investor calls.  He has been asked point blank about this receivable in the last two calls and not once did his mention any other than Duracell.  He should have been up front about the fact that it was from a ...more

lol holland lies so much I think he believes in it now. He lives in dream world of lies and misinformation

Doubt it would be regarded as material misstatement. The receivable hah been properly identified as DPC (I.E. Duracell Power Corp). Of course clarification on the licence name would have been useful, though actually  up to investors to research . A little surprising that Duracell themselves permitted anyone to use their trade name unless it was part of their marketing strategy. The positive ...more

Well once again Justin was probably mouthing off. So dpc decided to make him sweat. They just basically told him sorry but you're not making decisions here. Go back to your donut hole and don't show yourself again. We make the decisions here! Hence no towers I mean why would they!! They already have the solark units, they don't need anymore of the liars units!!

I think you have it wrong on the technology part. They are the only ones to qualify in the Australian Along with Tesla . Out many they were the only two left after many systems were tested .
