RE:Ecuador Gov. mining law article jan. 2013:reading up on this a bit more....has anyone ever seen what windfall tax would be and when i kicks in? they are getting rid of 70% windfall but i have read it taxes won't kick in until company recovers investment. but wondering what will tax rate be for juniors going forward? they say it looks favourable but what does that mean
the 3, 4 and 5% royalties are for exporting goods only, not the tax correct?
just trying to wrap my head around how messed up the market valuation of the company is right now. perhaps market still needs to catch up from june annoucement? assume lower grades have something to do with it as well but wow. $10B+ company here and growing..
