Did crooked EMO mngmnt pocket an EMO project?

Spun it off for themselves while shareholders got squat?

Pocket or looted?

Lifted from elsewhere

I will say, while we have a lot else going on... the more I read about the POCC lithium project that EMO once owned, and gave away for free, should be concerning shareholders. They are listing for 80million currently and EMO literally didn't get a cent for this, yet diluted shareholders by 1,500,000 (edit - 3 tranches of 500k) shares to purchase it and paid the tenement fees for 5 years.

As an EMO shareholder, this annoys me, because 80million to our market cap would be a lot better than us getting nothing while DG gets a huge payday

The valuation they gave to it, was 0. So no, it doesn't go anyway to explaining the value, nor does it explain why a mere 8 months later it's worth 80million fully diluted as an IPO

There was no sell, that's exactly the point. EMO just dissolved its subsidiary without any explanation in the annual financial report. All brazil entities went zap, poof, gone from what I can tell, and LI-Ionic was incorporated in July 2021 and then 3 months later this property mysteriously became available for free and 3 of the directors are the same (David Gower, Greg Duras and Damien Lopez... CEO, CFO and Company secretary)

JMHO...smell like cabage?

Ask the TSX if this was legit. They will investigate it thru their IROC division. They don't want scams tarnishing their reputation.

Oh dear, where to start. Well, iiroc is NOT a division of tsx. The Tsx is a public company with a near monopoly of stock trading in Canada and operates like a regulator, but has no tool other than a trading halt. Iiroc is an industry self regulatory body. The investment industry. That means all brokers and planners. They have very limited investigatory powers and zero prosecutory power beyond a ...more

Follow thru with your suspicions. I have contacted the TSX "contact us" section more than once and asked them to investigate. They forwarded my concerns and action was taken. I thought they forwarded it to IROC but maybe it was sent to the Securities Commission, doesn't matter, it was dealt with firmly.

Yeah, ummm, best case is you're confused. Otherwise, wtf. Anyone who actually did use contact us knows they NEVER disclose what action if any was taken other than via a public press release. You got one of those? Ahhhh......nope. It is a fun game of chasing your tail, not me, and finger pointing though. Tsx loves to say it's not their jurisdiction but they will forward to appropriate ...more

No, the best case scenario is your are a "know it all" expert. I provided them with very specific dates, times and examples. The first time resulted in a multi week trading halt with it resuming at a significant sp drop, never to see it reach pre-halt levels again. I never received a personal reply but I didn't need one. I have pointed out serious irregularities and infractions which ...more

Ok mr bsd. Why not? I've had several animated conversations with tsx, iiroc, osc, bcsc, asc in just the last few years. Regarding, in no particular order, pony, fnc,Ipl,hbc amongst others. I also hounded the tsx and iiroc until they finally changed access to short data. Used to be the tsx was the only source and they only published the top 5 or 10 each month but for a fee payable to tsx, a public ...more

It's an OSC-directed complaint in this situation. OSC regulates securities laws and capital market issuers. IIROC regulates the investment industry (think of as investment industry businesses & people). If there has been non-arm's length bad faith dealing (selling assets for "zero dollars" to themselves), the OSC would investigate into the issuer (EMO/MGMT).

If he or anyone ripped off shareholders, throw them in jail. I bought emo for zinc in Spain. I don't really care if they were stupid to let lithium assets go. There is no shortage of mining companies that walked away from a property that later turned out to be a "gold mine". There may or may not be a lot of crooked co's in Canada. I'll guess there are, I know I've seen ...more

Yawn! Another day, another username until it's shutdown by s/h again. A broken record indeed. Yes he got suckered on that one. Nobody's perfect. Some crooks are very talented. Some people sold the stock before they got off the bus from the timminco tour.
