RE: Japanophilia

RE: Japanophilia

Maricopa, what does CGX Energy has for it to be worth $375 million? What does AOI have for it to be worth $873 million (the recent discovery in Kenya has not been proven to be commercially viable as yet)?

I will tell you why those companies are worth what they are worth today and that is their NI 51-101 prospective reports shows that they have potentially billions of barrels of recoverable oil on their prospects. Now EOG that is worth $55 million today has more NI 51-101 prospective resources than both AOI and CGX Energy on their prospects. If you tell me that CGX and AOI are drilling I will tell you that Chariot is drilling close by with many other wells to follow in the next couple months (from Chariot/BP/Petrobras, Tower, HRT, etc). So your claim that all EOG has is acreage doesn't make sense.
