Noticed Gil choking over words a bit when asked about offshore Guyana JV....are you talking to Exxon? Hess? Can you name any of the 9 Co's ?

Gil - we only talk to majors that can take the project to production, I think it's actually 10 Co's we are talking to...
ain't that many around, one can draw conclusions

Definitely not Hess. The Chevron Exxon battle in limbo over Hess assets would negate that. Chevron is a possibility, Exxon would face an uphill battle as the Govt doesn't want them expanding much more. CNOOC could be a good fit but any suitor will face the Venezuela question. Petronas could be a good fit as well as APA aka Apache. Not sure about Petrobras as I never know what they're up to ...more
