Prospects of spurting black-gold on the horizon The prospects of Namibia becoming an oil-producing country is one step closer to reality following news that the drilling-rig, Maersk “Deliverer”, is expected in the country’s territorial waters by 1 April to commence with the sinking of the first exploration oil well on behalf of the oil exploration company, Enigma Oil & Gas (Pty) Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Chariot Oil & Gas.
