Correct me if I am wrong

Correct me if I am wrongBut solution mining is preferred by a good stretch to hard rock mining. For a deep deposit the costs are far less and the disruption to the environment is potentially less (ground water and stability notwithstanding.) I can't speak to why the management team would not take that route to begin with but the concept of solution mining itself is certainly not negative. I was always of the impression that solution mining could only be used with specific deposit types. Maybe the drilling  to date has made this an option when it did not previously appear to be? I don't know for sure but all of the folks immediately assuming this is negative are definitely not taking all facts into account.
