E3 Lithium Ltd. V.ETL

Alternate Symbol(s):  EEMMF

E3 Lithium Ltd. is a Canada-based development company. The Company is focused on commercial development of lithium extraction from brines contained in its mineral properties in Alberta. Its Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) on-exchange technology uses a sorbent designed to be selective towards lithium ions. Its technology reduces volumes of low-grade brine into a high-grade lithium concentrate, removing nearly all impurities. This produces a clean product for the development of high purity lithium compounds used in Li-ion batteries. The Company has measured and indicated lithium resources in Canada, with 16.0 million tons (Mt) measured and indicated Lithium Carbonate Equivalent (LCE), hosted in the Leduc Aquifer. In addition, it has 0.9 Mt of inferred mineral resources in its Rocky Area.

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Water handling costs ??? Waterexpert...

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Water handling costs ??? Waterexpert...The following i sfrom ETMC's PEA:

Brine Pre-Treatment, H2S Removal,Total Annual Costs (M USD) 19.9, Cost Per Tonne LHM (USD) 993.

Brine Production & Pre-Treatment: Based on the large amount of geological data available from oil and gas operations in the Clearwater Resource Area, it is expected that lithium grade is consistent throughout the Clearwater Resource Area and that a series of wells, drilled specifically for the production of brine, would be capable of delivering 3,300 m3 /day per well. At an average grade of 74.6 mg/L lithium, the project will move just over 128,000 m3 /day of brine, with additional well production capacity in excess of this. As Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) processing does not evaporate the water contained within the brine, the lithium void brine is returned to the aquifer through a series of injection wells. This re-injection of lithium depleted brine will serve to maintain pressures and brine production rates in the aquifer. The brine production process step also includes pre-treatment for removal of H2S from the brine prior for delivery to the Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) process.

If the lithium grade in the aquifer is 75ppm, then LiCa would be 75 * 5.3 = 400 ppm.
At a 75% recovery factor they would have 300 ppm LiCa which means they have to
produce 3,300 M3 of water for 1 ton of LiCa.

At 55 tons of LiCa/day, they would have to produce 55 * 3,300 M3 = 181,500 M3/day
of water, then extract the LiCa, and then dispose the treated water downhole.

If you assume 110% recovery it would be 128,000 M3/day, but 110% ain't realistic.

Sorry, I cut myself off before I was finished...
