They talk about getting into the lithium brine business full force BUT only talk about the  USA project. is it not strange that they do not mention Alberta????????   Is it possible they have already lost out to POSCO?

I don't think it's strange because I don't think they're mutually exclusive. They don't have to pick either/or. Could be both

Imperial might be the ones for (E3) Canadian side of things...but yes as mentioned maybe Exxon can do both.  Will see.

IMO some of the language used by their CEO recently is so similar to language used by E3 that it's more than coincidence. Yes,  in reference to the language I had to do a double take to see who was saying it... I think everyone might be playing coy with E3, except POSCO.  Reading up on thier DLE ventures and I would say they are extremely bullish with very deep pockets.  Could force others your right.  We should be seeing the 3rd party confirmation hopefully tonight, would be nice to see first

I don't think there's much there with E3's multiple DLE testing. Many places have identified a difficulty of DLE replication is the brine-specific setup. And Smackover is very different.
