A bit of a difference, isn't it? As to the "cheap light" - mining uranium in Košice will not make the light any cheaper. You can't simply put uranium into a nuclear reactor like you put coal or wooden logs to a fireplace. There's a long long way from mined uranium to nuclear fuel and the price of the uranium itself is almost negligible in comparison with the price of the remaining phases of nuclear fuel manufacturing/processing.
