Waterloo Brewing does a 180 on entering cannabis-infused drink market Waterloo Brewing isn't going to get into the cannabis business after all. The company announced late Friday that it would suspend its plans to develop a cannabis-infused beverage and will focus instead on its beer, cider and co-packing businesses. In a statement, Waterloo Brewing said that the "market opportunity has become less clear and highly uncertain" for cannabis-infused drinks. Pot drinks have begun rolling out in Canada this year from companies such as Canopy Growth, A1 Cannabis and Tilray, but it remains to be seen whether these products will result in significant revenue.
