New EW Article - with 2 new facts!

New EW Article - with 2 new facts! Two important items in article: 1) new 1 year contract to move oil by train 2) over mid and long-term Gazprom is planning on spending 600 million Euro's oil in Romania. GAZPROM has started to remove crude oil from western Romania More and more information shows that the Russians from Gazprom have started to extract hydrocarbons from western Romania. Author: Cristian Matache | Source: Money.ro | Posted: 08/22/2019, 10:42 AM A document of the state-owned company Conpet, namely the Administrators' Report on the first semester, 2019, shows that in March 2019, the contract for services was concluded for the temporary acquisition and storage of crude oil and condensate produced in the operations in Timis County, for a period for 1 year. The beneficiary is NIS Petrol Romnia SRL. "Discussions were initiated with NIS ad Serbia representatives (the company that owns the Pancevo and Novi Sad refineries) to carry out the transportation of crude oil produced by the subsidiary NIS Petroleum Romania SRL to the Pancevo refinery, discussions finalized by the conclusion of a contract to provide oil transportation services on the railway, on the relationship between the Biled ramp - the Romanian-Serbian border, for a period of 1 year , it is said in the mentioned document. NIS Petrol is the former oil and gas company in Serbia and for several years has been controlled by the Russian giant Gazprom. NIS Petrol, and implicitly Gazprom, has in Romania a portfolio of six oil and gas perimeters on the Romanian territory, having all the status of operator. Four concessions are for exploration, development and exploitation activities in partnership with the Canadian company East West Petroleum (two in Bihor county - EX-2 Tria and EX-3 Bile Felix and two in Timi county - EX-7 Periam and EX-8 Biled ). A fifth concession is held in partnership with Zeta Petroleum and Armax Gaz, respectively the concession for oil development and exploitation in the perimeter of DEE V-20 Jimbolia, Timis County. The sixth concession for exploration-development-exploitation activities is also in Timi county, in the perimeter of EX-12 Crai Nou, according to Profit.ro. NIS Petrol is very discreet in terms of starting oil and gas production in western Romania, but different information attests to this fact. For example, in the spring of this year, ANRE issued a very technical document stating that "the authorization for setting up the upstream supply pipes for the production of natural gas from the DEE V-20 Jimbolia perimeter of the company NIS PETROL SRL" is granted. . In Romania, the necessary approvals have been granted to extract and pump the gas in the National Transport System. The Russians were planning to start oil production in 2015 but were delayed. However, they developed a gas station network, with the Gazprom brand, but operated by NIS Petrol. NIS Petrol announced at the beginning of 20120 the resumption of prospecting operations in the perimeter of EX-7 Periam in Timi County. The works, carried out through Naftagas Oilfield Service, a company also in the field of Gazprom, targeted an area of almost 150 square kilometers, in the vicinity of Beba Veche, Cherestur and Dudetii Vechi, areas where the company signed agreements with farmers. In 2014, 3D seismic data acquisition was started in the two perimeters of the county, EX-7 Periam and EX-8 Biled, and in March 2015, the seismic data were collected on an area of 306 square kilometers, of which 117 km2 in EX-7 Periam and 189 km2 in the EX-8 Biled perimeter. Gazprom, through NIS, has held, since 2010, the concession on four oil perimeters in Bihor and Timi. They extend from the north to the south of the two counties and from the Hungarian border to the hilly and mountainous area. In total, almost 4,000 square kilometers, ie more than half of the surface of Bihor. NIS representatives have repeatedly said to reassure the local community that prospecting in the aforementioned perimeters and future exploration targets only conventional hydrocarbon deposits, not shale gas. The Russians also stated that they have an investment plan of 600 million euros in Romania, in the medium and long term.
