VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Dec 14, 2010 (Marketwire via COMTEX News Network)

Sidon International Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE:SD) (FRANKFURT:SY7), in conjunction with its experience and presence in Tanzania the company has just been notified of getting a Master License granted adjacent to the Canaco property in the Handeni area of Tanzania. The property consists of approximately 50.5 square kilometers north east of the Canaco Magambazi property and immediately north of Douglas Lake Minerals Ltd.'s Acquisition to the south.

Abby Farrage reports, "this is a major development for the company as a Master License can take several years to obtain. The board of directors made the decision to pursue this property with the Master License in the best interest of the company. In the previous news release the company did not give up on the Meg project as it was a priority to pursue the Handeni property ( Magambazi area) with the Master License being granted. The property they stopped pursuing was an addition on to the current property they are drilling at this moment."
