RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: thanks for the memoriesSeriously ... lol ... I hope that's a joke.
How about the lower lows and lower highs?
See the attached chart ... I'll see if you can spot the down trend (I know ... it's subtle isn't it).
Not annotated on here because I don't feel like figuring out how to do it in stockhouse (look at stockcharts.com to find it) is:
50 day moving average is below 200 dma
500 dma and 200 dma both going in a downward direction:
OK, MACD is crossing over, but doesn't mean much since it really just tells you downward acceleration is lessening (and really, it has to, it can't really go much lower can it?)
RSI turned back downward today before even making it back to the 50% mark
Stochastics are negative.
The OBV is trending down, which means people are selling and not accumulating.
Volume has several days where there is LOW volume buying but have days where there is crazy heavy volume and people are overall sellers on those days.
What more do you want? how do you see a nice gain out of those "technicals"??? The downtrend tells you all you know. It seems like the only reason you see a nice gain coming is because it's been losing for so long already. It's like the guy sitting at the roulette table placing his bet on 00 because eventually it has to hit (hint: it doesn't have to hit).
I would love to read your technical insights into this. Obviously you see something the entire population of investors does not see (except Goldbuyer, who, by the way, thinks your technical analysis is spot on verifiable DD).
