First Atlantic Nickel Corp., formerly Avante Mining Corp., is a mining exploration company. The Company is focused on developing high-value geographically significant projects, including the Pipestone Project and the Voisey's West Project. The Pipestone Project represents the awaruite projects, which are a focus in the development of large-scale bulk tonnage nickel targets. The Pipestone Project covers over 40 kilometers (km) of strike securing the majority of the nickeliferous Pipestone ophiolite ultramafic complex. The project is located in central Newfoundland. The Voisey's West Project is located about 50 km northwest of Voisey's Bay Ni-Cu-Co (nickel-copper-cobalt) mine and 70 km west of the town of Nain, in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The LMSL Project is located about 20 km north of Merritt, British Columbia, Canada. The Blackdome Project is located in the Clinton Mining Division about 120 km southwest of the city of Williams Lake, British Columbia, Canada.

RE:cores compared to KL Macassa Gold mine I can't believe 1.6 million shares have traded today. One would think that people would wait for assay news before selling. After all there is a good chance there will be gold in the core similar to the old Rickard mine assays or better. Did I read some where that the assays should start being recieved in 2 to 4 weeks?
