If you're trying to do due diligence on a company [I know, it's hard to do DD with a junior] and rely on what they say they've found but not mined and that same company has virtually no reserves but will "drill as we need more gold to mine" then "losing" 25,000 ounces - six months - of gold IS a major deal. If they had vast reserves I would agree with you. Fire River has NO reserves to speak of and what went "missing" was THE richest ore in their mine. THAT is a big deal. And it didn't go missing in the 1920's. This happened, I believe, very recently. Was it a mistake or was it intentional? I don't know but I do know it was not there and someone blew it.
