RE: Cash

RE: Cash

Hi  Washington10,

Sorry to hear you've not been paid but not surprised.   I'm guessing the company is running on fumes from a cash standpoint.

You might want to protect yourself and file a Mechanic's Lien against the company for your  money.    As a creditor you have that right and the only thing that comes ahead of a Mechanic's Lien are federal taxes.  If something happens to Fire River - such as a takeover by Sprott - you would be at the head of the line and get your money first.  Remember, first to file establishes your priority, so you might want to go ahead now.

Do a Google search for filing a Mechanic's Lien in Alaska or file a suit in Small Claims court and if you win your suit [very cheap to file a Small Claims case] that will protect you.  Before you do, write them a demand letter and give them 1-2 weeks to comply.  If they don't - file a Small Claims action, get a judgment and then file your lien.
