lithium price
obviously there is imbalance between supply and demand and that is fueling price increases and also scrambling to meet supply chain needs in NA and in Europe and really throughout world. There are also strong security reasons to build NA supply chain. So FL very well placed.
My only worry and it is a short term one is whether a recession will drop auto demand and lithium prices might go through a temporary slump. At some point inflation, high interest rates, and recession have to decrease the number of people eager to plunk down 60k or more for an electric vehicle.

Remember that when the Australians moved in to North Carolina to form PLL , that asset had been shuttered and there were no other bidders looking to invest in it and get it going again. The FL resource is vastly superior except for power and roads which are coming.

Yes price matter......at the same time you are right pointing out that for FL producing lithium hydroxide will be at low cost.... Price matter for bankers, investors......and the ROI :)
