The Federal Aviation Administration is reportedly looking to form an industry group to expand drone flights.
FAA Administrator Steve Dickson announced the creation of the new industry group today at a symposium on drones. The committee will be tasked with setting standard for long-range flights out of the sightline of operators.
The development could be a positive for the drone industry and set it up for more commercial applications in the future.
